Ski Beech is the highest elevated resort in the eastern United States at 5,506 feet above sea level. It receives an average of 80 inches of snow each year, which is some of the most natural snowfall in the state of North Carolina.
Ski Beech has 15 slopes and 9 lifts, and it has terrain for everyone from beginners through experts. It also offers mid-week discounts on lift tickets and rentals every day, Monday through Friday.
Ski Beech also has village shops that include food and drinks, rentals, learning centers, gift shops, repairs, a bakery and more. It features a 7,000 square foot outdoor ice skating rink located right in the middle of the village.
Ski Sugar at sugar mountain is another popular skiing destination just 15 minutes away from our Beech Mountain hotels on a well-maintained state road.
